    DAVID ALFONSOCo-Founder, CEO

     

    A Bay Area native and graduate of San Francisco State University, David Alfonso began his 12-year career working among Silicon Valley’s elite, holding key positions in both sales and marketing for some of the country’s most exciting start-ups. The experience and wealth of knowledge he accumulated during this period placed him in a unique position to finally rethink his career.

    A natural entrepreneur at heart, always hungry for creative freedom and purpose, David decided to take the big leap by partnering with fellow impresario and risk taker, Christopher Zent to launch Hanz de Fuko, a fresh new take on men's hair care.

    In addition to his duties as CEO, David is responsible for the company's overall marketing strategy and execution, new product development, creative design, social media, and packaging.

    CHRISTOPHER ZENTCo-Founder, COO

     

    For Christopher Zent, growing up in Silicon Valley during the nineties meant the ever-present lure of entrepreneurship. Whenever a business opportunity arose to get his feet wet, Christopher always jumped in head first.

    While earning his stripes with several consumer-driven start-ups, he became fascinated with the driving forces behind their success; the power of an idea, creative freedom, and the unwavering desire to exceed customer expectations. In 2009, Christopher teamed up with his childhood friend, David Alfonso, and Hanz de Fuko was born.

    In addition to his COO duties, Christopher also serves as Hanz de Fuko’s online architect and VP of sales. His goal is to reimagine the way people think about and purchase their hair products, foregoing traditional and outdated methods in favor of more stylish, innovative and consumer-centric solutions.

    DEBRA ROBINSONManager, Warehouse and Logistics

     

    A longtime resident of Sacramento, CA, Debra Robinson brings more than a decade of knowledge and hands-on experience, having worked in some of the most prestigious asset management firms in the country. Her ability to manage Hanz de Fuko’s order fulfillment process and all things related to inventory and logistics, makes her an indispensable member to the team, along with a contagious, upbeat attitude that makes our office that much more fun to work in.

    When Debra’s not in the office shipping out Hanz de Fuko love and making sure customers get their products in lightning-fast speed, you can find her spending time with her daughter Kayla while enjoying the day shopping and watching funny movies.

    BRENNA BUTLER MARKETING MANAGER

     

    A Los Angeles local and graduate of Chapman University, Brenna breathes life into our marketing department. Before joining Hanz de Fuko, Brenna worked as a graphic designer for an ad agency in Venice Beach. With her BFA in Graphic Design and relative work experience, she is dedicated to elevating Hanz de Fuko through design and finding creative and innovative ways to connect with our customers.

    Out of the office, Brenna continues to be who she is – an artist. She spends her free time creating works of art and spending countless hours with her two Alaskan Malamutes.

    MAI AMAS Customer Service Manager

     

    Mai is originally from San Francisco and moved to LA to work for Hanz de Fuko in November of 2015. Before working for Hanz de Fuko, she attended UC Santa Barbara and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English. She is now responsible for Hanz de Fuko’s customer service department.

    In her free time, Mai enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, and traveling whenever she gets the chance!

    AHMAD KRAYEM Sales Consultant

     

    A Bay Area native, Ahmad has been with Hanz de Fuko since 2015. He facilitates direct sales of Hanz de Fuko products to salons and barbershops.

    Ahmad’s passion has always been related to sales, and his favorite hobby is trading stocks.  He’s the youngest of five siblings and the uncle of 10. He justifies his love for burgers, pizza, and burritos by going to the gym, running and hiking.

    CAROL BATEMANDIRECTOR HUMAN RESOURCES AND VENDOR RELATIONS

     

    A native San Franciscan, Carol has been with Hanz de Fuko since the company was founded. After working in the SF hotel industry, she spent years at Visa USA, as a marketing analyst for members and merchant relations, then at a large Bay Area medical center working on employee relations. Carol has worked in every area of Hanz de Fuko, bringing her expertise in office management and customer service, as well as vendor and employee relations.

    In her free time, Carol enjoys event planning, movies, reading and wine-tasting.

    PATTY PLASCENCIACUSTOMER SERVICE

     

    A long-time Bay Area resident, Patty worked as a counselor at the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco before joining Hanz de Fuko. She also facilitated the start-up and approval of accredited, online credit counseling with the Tides Center. A service-oriented enthusiast, she enjoys being on the front line of Hanz de Fuko’s customer service.

    In her spare time, she appreciates listening to the teachings of Bentinho Massaro, ecstatic dance and spending time with family.

    RYAN ALFONSOWAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

     

    A Bay Area native, Ryan brings to Hanz de Fuko his experience working as the warehouse supervisor of logistics for Target. His dedication to maintaining smooth operations and a seamless delivery schedule makes him a valuable member of the warehouse team.

    When Ryan is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. His favorite activity is coaching his children in sports and being the best dad he can be.
